Just came back from science camp at Republic Polytechnic....was damm fun man...the SLs was awesome...now i come back home suddenly cant adapt....everything now still feels damm weird....i think i adapted to life in camp yesterday....today come back home not used to anything now....damm weird rite....

Yesterday i woke up at left home at abt 7 plus...my bag damm big cos of my sleeping bag...reach the poly i 1st saw dao ming....then elvis...then ong sean...finally chin kiat...we went up to put our bags in the exhibition hall...i thought we were going to sleep like refugees. Then we had icebreakers with other hci ppl and sunny and joyce...after the icebreakers we went into the lecture theatre for a talk by the director( i think) from HSA. He explained to us how forensic science really works and not very much like what we see on TV. After the talk, we went on for lunch. The food was quite good. Practically for the camp, we ate every 2 hours. We went for the 1st workshop about testing the presence of some drug in the vicitm's serum. Then we went for teabreak. Time for the 2nd workshop about DNA stuff...then we went back to the exhibition hall there where we played mingle mingle. Dinner time! Again the food was quite nice. After that we were split into different groups. I got into group 2 where i made some new friends like wensiang and nizam. There are also 2 chiobus, 1 frm korea and the other from phillipines. There was also qiyun a.k.a Mr Goldfish. We played many different teambuilding games and had like a half world tour half marathon over rp...if you know what i mean. Sophia's navigation skills fail... I got wet at the last station, some dude poured the whole pail of water on me...Sigh, i got damm wet and we went to bath. Later at night, we slept at this open space in the library(somewhere there). I talked with Elvis and Dao Ming about girls etc. Sleeping was bad. My neck hurt and it was damm cold.

Next morning, I woke up at 615 and went to brush teeth. I then realised it was only 630 after i finished. Then we played truth or dare. The stupid question to me was name a girl that i have/had a crush on. I evaded it successfully. Haha. Then we went back to the exhibition hall for games like bomb bomb. We then had breakfast. After that we went for a workshop on fingerprinting. Lunch was served with entertainment from those who lost the blow wind blow game where they danced peel banana peel. Lol now is amazing race where we apply wad we learned in this workshop to this. After that was the closing ceremony and 3 group photos. I left after getting some contacts while the rest( Dao Ming, Elvis, Chin Kiat and Ong Sean) left for the summer retreat. I 1 man solo went back home on the mrt.

I feel that forensic science is very interesting and indeed I would pursue a career in science. It really involves a lot of examining. Sigh, I go sleep liao damm tired. Btw, rp looks like an airport without planes and the people there are very nice. Hope I can get a chance to work with them sometime.
